Who runs golftripbeds
golftripbeds is a small, independent guide run from Montreal by 9481-8440 Québec inc. We build simple, useful travel guides for sports fans, and we like solving the planning problems that come with big events using technology.
Why I built it
Every golf trip starts with the same questions: where do I sleep, how do I get in, and can I actually get a tee time?
The answers are spread across official sites, forums and hotel pages, and they rarely say how far the gates really are or how the tee time rules work for visitors. So we built one page per tournament and per trip, with live prices on a map.
How we pick areas to stay
For tournaments we start with the gates, the official parking and the shuttles. We look first for places you can walk from, then places by the shuttle, then short drives, and one cheaper base with an easy trip in.
For golf trips we start with the first tee: the resort itself, the town next to it, then short drives and value options. Each area comes with a live map of hotels and rentals, so you see real availability and prices.
Where the details come from
Dates, ticket rules, parking, shuttles and tee time policies come from the official tournament, club and resort sites. Each page lists its sources and the date we last checked them.
Some details, like parking plans and gate times, come out closer to the week. We update the pages as they do. Always check the official site before you travel.
How the site is paid for
golftripbeds is free to use. The lodging maps come from our booking partner, Stay22. When you book a stay through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We pick areas for how close they are to the course, not for the commission.
Not the official site
golftripbeds is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any tournament, golf club, resort, tour or governing body. Event and course names are used only to describe them.
