Getting in: parking, shuttles and gates
Parking is free in Augusta National's patron lots along Berckmans Road, between the North and South Gates, first come, first served; the private lots on Washington Road charge. In 2026 the lots opened no earlier than 06:00, with ticket gates at 07:00 and the course at 07:30. Do not type 'Augusta National' into your GPS: use the Masters app or the QR code on your patron mailer. Phones are banned on the grounds every day, cameras are only allowed on practice days, in 2026 bags had to fit within 10 by 10 by 12 inches, and you can bring one folding chair without arms.

The Publix lot at the Washington Road, Alexander Drive and Berckmans Road intersection is the Washington Road end of the official setup and also holds the Uber and Lyft lot. Private lots on Washington Road charge. In 2026 lots opened no earlier than 06:00 and were closed from 22:00 to 06:00. How to get tickets
Augusta National sells Masters tickets itself, through a free online application each June, and the 2027 window ran from June 1 to 20, 2026. Augusta National is the only authorized seller: resale is not allowed, resold tickets can be cancelled, and buying or selling tickets near the club can bring a criminal charge. Be very careful with resale websites and brokers, since a ticket bought that way can be refused at the gate.
Where to watch at the Masters
Spend the morning at Amen Corner and the 16th, then work your way back to the clubhouse for the finish.

Amen Corner
Head down to the 11th, 12th and 13th first thing, as the best spots behind the 12th tee fill early. On practice days you can see the whole corner without a crowd.

A par 3 over water with a slope to sit on, and a good place to set your chair. On practice days players try to skip balls across the pond to the green.

Masters questions
When is the 2027 Masters?
Practice rounds are Monday, April 5 to Wednesday, April 7, 2027, with the Par 3 Contest on the Wednesday. The tournament is Thursday, April 8 to Sunday, April 11, 2027 at Augusta National.
Where should I stay for the Masters?
Washington Road hotels are the closest to the free parking, and private homes in west Augusta, Evans and Martinez suit groups. Downtown Augusta and North Augusta are about 15 minutes' drive away.
How do I get Masters tickets?
Apply on masters.com during the annual ticket application, which ran from June 1 to 20, 2026 for 2027. You must be 21 or older, can ask for up to four tickets, and winners are told by email in late July.
Is parking free at the Masters?
Yes. Augusta National provides free patron parking, first come, first served, in its lots along Berckmans Road between the North and South Gates. Private lots on Washington Road charge, so drive on to the club's own lots, and arrive early on Thursday to Sunday.
Can I bring my phone to the Masters?
No. Phones, tablets and laptops are banned on the grounds on every day, practice rounds included. Cameras are allowed only on the practice days.
Can I rent a house for Masters week?
Yes. Many Augusta area homeowners rent out their homes for the week, through Masters housing agencies or home rental websites, and a federal tax rule lets them keep the rent tax free if they rent for 14 days or fewer a year. Augusta is redrafting its short-term rental rules, but city officials said in October 2026 they do not expect to curb Masters week rentals.
