The 127th U.S. Open is at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California from June 14 to 20, 2027, with practice rounds Monday, June 14 to Wednesday, June 16 and the four championship rounds Thursday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20. The Pebble Beach resort hotels (The Lodge, Casa Palmero and Fairway One by the course, plus The Inn at Spanish Bay a short drive north) are the closest beds, and rooms are part of the hospitality packages, so most fans stay in Carmel, Pacific Grove or Monterey, with Seaside and Marina as the value base near where the 2019 spectator lot was. Tickets are sold by the USGA through SeatGeek, and daily tickets go on general sale on November 12, 2026.

Getting in: parking, shuttles and gates
The 2027 parking and shuttle plan is not out yet. For reference only, in 2019 fans parked free at Cal State Monterey Bay in Marina and rode free shuttles to the gates, about 30 to 35 minutes, from early morning until after play, while Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey ran their own paid shuttles. Del Monte Forest is a gated area, so plan on the official shuttles once they are announced. Gate times, bag rules and phone rules for 2027 will come with the spectator guide; in 2019 only small or clear bags were allowed and phones had to stay on silent.

For reference only, in 2019 at Pebble Beach the USGA allowed a small bag up to 6 by 6 by 6 inches or a clear bag up to 12 by 12 by 6 inches, plus folding chairs without arms, diaper bags and strollers; no outside food or drink except an empty clear bottle up to 24 ounces; cameras on practice days only; phones allowed on silent with calls only in designated areas.

For reference only, in 2019 general spectator parking was free at Cal State Monterey Bay in Marina, about 13 miles north, with about 15,000 spaces. Lodge Premier and 1895 Club tickets for 2027 include VIP parking inside Del Monte Forest with a shuttle (Lodge Premier: one parking pass per order).

- 2027 plan not published. For reference only, in 2019 free shuttles ran from the Cal State Monterey Bay lot from 05:30 until after play ended, about 30 to 35 minutes each way, and Carmel, Pacific Grove and Monterey ran paid local express shuttles (reported at about USD 20 a day). Rideshare drop-off was on Forest Lake Road near Gate 1, entering Del Monte Forest by the Pacific Grove or Morse gates.
How to get tickets
Buy only from the USGA at usopen.com, which sells through SeatGeek, its official ticketing provider. Weekly and five-day packages were on sale by June 2026 (corporate hospitality since April 2025), and daily tickets go on general sale on November 12, 2026, after presales for American Express cardmembers, USGA members and Victory Club members. The weekend Reserved Grandstand package has already sold out, so stick to the official seller rather than other resale sites.
Where to watch at the U.S. Open
Pick the coast: the run along the water from the 7th to the 8th, or the finish on the 17th and 18th by The Lodge.

The short par 3 out on the point is surrounded by water, and wind can make it a lottery. Arrive early to get a good spot by the green.

Watch players hit their approach over the cliffs to the green, close to the 7th so you can see both.

17th and 18th
The 17th is where Nicklaus and Watson made U.S. Open history, and the 18th curls along the sea to the finish. Expect the biggest crowds here on the weekend.

The official packages, explained
Pebble Beach Company sells corporate hospitality, including a seven-night VIP package with a room at The Lodge or The Inn at Spanish Bay, 1895 Club tickets and daily golf on its other courses. It is the surest way to sleep on the resort, at a high price; USGA Experiences sells official ticket packages, but they do not include a room.

Under the 2025 USGA policy, children 12 and under got a free Gallery ticket on site with a ticketed adult, and teens paid a junior price on championship days. The 2027 policy is not confirmed yet.
Which airport is closest to Pebble Beach?
Monterey Regional Airport is about 15 minutes' drive. San Jose is about 90 minutes and San Francisco about 2 hours.
